香港開放數據指數計劃由香港互聯網協會發起，旨在以國際標準評估及追蹤香港的開放數據進程。
指數作為評估工具，建基於19項現行國際或區域層面開放數據準則及其他評估工具。透過評估工作，我們揭示香港在開放數據中所取得的成就及面臨的挑戰，亦希望將國際社會中成熟的最佳做法引入香港。
